أشارت عارضة الأزياء المثيرة للجدل ميريام كلينك في تدوينة فيسبوكية إلى أنّهم هم الذين يتحملون مسؤولية الإقبال على عمليات التجميل، منتقدة دور وسائل الإعلام في تعميم هذه الصور فكتبت

Ekht el Jamel wel nafekh ndarabna kilna we all want to look amazing we are competing with whom ? Is it for the reflection of our mirror ? For men? For society ?? A celebrity I can understand TV photoshoot etc but a married normal woman normal people why are they so crazy about being young pretty and perfect jizeh w tjawazo wled w fa2asso … We live in a world where everyone wants to look like a star but ur not on TV babe ur not going to be judged or because u want to look like a star to your husband and lover or friends or whoever ???
I am sorry WE the stars are destroying normal woman self confidence their men look at us so they want to look like us to please their entourage …. That’s the only real reason I found …. Social media , TV , programs on TV are destroying society and women self confidence ….
